October to June is the season for paragliding. Even October – November and March – June are the best time for long flights. Paragliding experience during December, January is different as all the mountains around covered with snow, even Billing experience snowfall during that period.
From the mid of December, January till the mid of February are valid for paragliding, but flight remain low as the cool air temperature does not encourage the para-glider to fly high or for longer duration.
Temperatures range from a high of 18°C to a low of 8°C-10°C in the night and this is the perfect time to have a fun time with your family due to the beautiful weather. The months from December to February are the coldest in Bir with temperatures dropping down to sub-zero levels.

While Billing is the takeoff site for paragliding and Bir for landing; collectively it is known "Bir Billing"
